Growing up in a born again Christian household, we never celebrated Halloween...and truth be told I'm cool with that. I truly don't feel like I missed a thing. It's not my holiday at all. My mom did not dress us up or let us go to school on that day. The one time she did send me to school, I could barely get home. The HS kids had us trapped in the school for fear of being pelted with eggs. Fast forward to present day in the church, they have "Hallelujah Night." The children get to dress up like everyone else without all the, in my opinion, fear factor foolishness that goes with Halloween. Working in the medical field, its 24 hours a day; 7 days a week; 365 days a year..no holidays off. So, here's my costume - I'm a cat. My version of Julie Newmars Catwoman.

It's a beautiful crisp day in the northeast. I use that word beautiful loosely as I'm truly not a fan of cold weather. It's 51 degrees outside. I'm grateful that it's sunny and thank God there's not snow on the ground. As I was out with the bestie trying to get these shots done as quickly as possible, I met a gentleman and his awesome family. He got out if his car and we had a impromptu photo shoot. The last photo was taken by him! Find him and is talented daughter on Instagram: @texwellthewiz @ausette @megagirlzofficial

What woman doesn't love a awesome handbag? It is and will always be the ultimate accessory. Whether shoulder or hand, evening or everyday most every woman will have one with her filled to the brim almost everyday. I've tried on occasion to go without one...I must say that DID NOT work out well for me. Either my pockets were overstuffed or I turned back for it.

So, I love jumpsuits but because I'm tall I have a hard time finding one that accommodates all my assets as it were. In December 2015 Loft 324 was hosting a Instagram contest. I won a $100 gift certificate and ordered this jumpsuit for my birthday in January 2016. It's navy blue (clearly, my favorite color) poly spandex blend with a black velvet diamond design, faux wrap front and self belt.

I purchased this dress for a wedding in May. I fell head over heels for the metallic mint that shimmers in the sunlight. Due to the unseasonably warm 80 degree weather this October, I was able to pull it out again. This spaghetti strapped v-necked number is versatile and beautiful.

Shopping with clients can be to be a challenge for me. I try not to enforce my views too much on them. Instead bring out their inner god/goddess, while trying to get them to try something new. Many times my vision for them and how they see themselves are miles apart. If I had my way, the world's female population would be in 3" pencil heels ALL THE TIME but alas one must make concessions for the pencil heeled challenged with the block heel.

I am a HUGE fan of the well dressed man. Jeans and sneakers have their place but I honestly wish we could revert back to the time when men wore suits to EVERYTHING and women wore dresses and heels. It was a classier world then. Chivalry was alive and kicking. Men opened car doors and showed up at your door with flowers. Women weren't showing all of their goodies on the first encounter. There was an air of mystery, and to me, made the chase more intriguing.
The Panamánian born stylist represents beauty, wisdom, generosity and courage. In spite of these many qualities, she remains humble and treats everyone with kindness and respect. She received her first influences of fashion from her mother, Pearl. As unique as her name, her mom is a rare gem. Well into her 70s and still killing the fashion scene in 3" heels. Ms. Nina has always enjoyed dressing up and parlayed that love of high quality garments into commerce.
