Another cousin has gotten hitched! Darren and I used to be rather close when we were younger. We clubbed together way back in my brief clubbing period. I am his eldest son's madrina (godmother) and am still close to his first wife Steph. Although Darren and I have drifted apart, I'm still grateful to him for the biggest joy in life...my son Jonathan. Darren married his girlfriend of 5 years and it gave my huge family the opportunity to come together, act the fool and celebrate. I love these occasions because of my extensive travel, I don't get to see my family too much. One of my favorite primas (cousins) flew in from Panamá so we had the opportunity to catch up and I danced until I could barely get my Jimmy Choo sandals off! Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Darren J. Edwards!
